For eight decades, Raymus Homes has embodied the vision of its founder, Antone Raymus, who believed that building homes meant building futures. From the beginning, Antone saw a home as the heart of a community, and he lived that philosophy by investing deeply in Manteca. Beyond developing neighborhoods, he co-founded Give Every Child a Chance and HOPE Family Shelters to support the town he loved.
Today, Antone’s children, Toni and Bob Raymus, carry that legacy into a new era. They’ve expanded the company’s tradition of craftsmanship while championing community initiatives such as the Great Valley Bookfest and the Thomas Toy Community Center. With thousands of homes built, Raymus Homes measures its impact not in numbers but in the lives shaped within its communities. As the company celebrates 80 years, its mission remains the same: to build superior-quality homes and enrich Manteca so it can continue to thrive for generations.
A recent article in the Manteca/Ripon Bulletin highlights the inspiring back story of what led to the founding of a family development firm in 1945 that has since built more than 6,000 homes in 100 plus neighborhoods.
We congratulate the Raymus family and everyone on their team for 80 years of building homes and community.
